Fashion: Shades of Grey

I'm not a winter girl. I hate the cold, the shorter days, waking up in the dark and getting home again, in the dark, the rain, wind and everything else that comes with the season. In saying that; there can be one fun part of winter and that's the fashion; the layers, the cute accessories and the boots.

However, winter fashion in Australia can be a tough one to navigate. It's not quite cold enough to wear all the cute layers but not quite warm enough to bare skin. Generally in winter I just get buy with a pair of jeans, a jacket and wish the winter months to go by as quickly as possible, but this year I've finally started to find my winter style.

I generally go for the more neutral colours in the winter season, such as, a lot of shades of grey, black, white and my newest winter shade and quite possibly the colour of the season - military green.

The structured grey coat featured here is the newest addition to my winter wardrobe and I am in love with it. It's beautifully soft, warm as a hug and adds a touch of elegance to any outfit. I've barely taken it off since it has arrived in my hot little hand and what's so perfectly good about it is, it isn't too bulky and movement restrictive so no need to ever take it off.

For a day time look I would team it with an adorable pair of heeled ankle boots, a printed tee and a pair of black ripped jeans and for a night time look, I would wear it exactly as it is featured here.
